Patch “The Strongest Are the Most Warlike” – 110 Combat Wing

The emblem “Μαχιμώτατοι οι Ισχύοντες” (The Strongest Are the Most Warlike) is derived from Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics and serves as the official motto of 110 Combat Wing.

110 CW’s mission is to maintain a high degree of readiness and effectiveness through organization, personnel training, and ensuring all systems and assets are maintained — ready to carry out air operations whenever required.

Based at Larissa Air Base, the 110 CW was formally established in 1951 as a Combat Wing, evolving from decades of aviation presence in the region.

The patch design blends a winged-helmeted warrior gripping a spear with refined embroidery to symbolize strength and leadership.
